G. McNeill & Son Contracting Group, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business in Stoughton MA, serving clients in New England for over 50 years. Founded by self-taught tradesman George McNeill in 1973, the company is now led by his son Shane, who shares his father’s commitment to excellence and to a family-centered work culture. What started with one man and his truck (and a passion for the industry that will never let him retire) has now grown to include a fleet of vehicles and expansion of services that includes commercial snow and ice management, as well as year-round property maintenance.

First, we perform a full-site inspection to discuss the specifications for the job and then we prepare a detailed proposal for your review. We are dedicated to state-of-the-art snow and ice management, as well as high quality remodeling and renovation services. All our employees are trained to follow strict safety policies & procedures no matter the project. We handle jobs of all scopes and sizes and can also assist with project design, project planning, and maintenance. Shane grew up in the trade and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology for Construction Management. Fresh out of college he obtained his CSL (Construction Supervisor License). Shane has over 26 years of experience in the industry and has achieved multiple certificates, designations, and licenses including some of the following: Certified Snow Professional-SIMA (CSP), Hoisting Engineering License, Construction Supervisor License, EPA Remodeler/Renovator Lead, Installation Master Program, Certified Snow Professional (CSP), OSHA 10 Certificate (Advanced Snow Manager), ISO ASCA Certificate, Sustainable Salt Workshop, Conflict of Interest Law Certificate. Shane is continuously furthering his industry knowledge by attending trade shows and seminars. He invests his time into training his employees while maintaining a family centered work culture. He began learning the business from his father who worked in the industry while he was young and instilled in him a strong work ethic.
George McNeill is the Vice President and Partner of McNeill and stands behind the company vision while adapting to the current times. As a self-taught tradesman, he has 45 years of experience in the field. He has his Construction Supervisor License (CSL) and specializes in custom woodworking. He runs the company with a family-first attitude and is known to believe in second chances. His teaching ability when training the team is unmatched, and his passion for the industry will never let him retire.
Deborah “Debbie” McNeill has many years of experience in Bookkeeping/AP/AR, has a BA degree, and has worked with George since he started. She has an entrepreneurial attitude, is excellent with clients, and is in charge of the financial aspects of the business. Deb always smiles and watches over everyone at the company, especially during long events, during which she also takes on the dispatcher role.
Nick Pupko is a driving force behind McNeill, overseeing all company operations. Nick has over 20 years of experience in trades and management and has achieved multiple certificates, designations, and licenses, including the following: Accredited Snow Contractors Association Certification (ASCA-C), Certified Snow Professional (CSP), Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) through SIMA, Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), MA 2A Hoisting Engineering License, OSHA 10 Certificate, MA Auto Damage Appraisers License, and NFPA Hot Works Certificate. He is also a QuickBooks Certified User and a Notary Public. Nick is constantly furthering his knowledge in the field and even serves on the SIMA (Snow & Ice Management Association) Education Committee.
